Anacabert is our alternative to dairy cheese. It is naturally fermented using organic, fair-trade cashews covered in an edible white rind. The ingredients come exclusively from certified organic farming, resulting in a cheese that is tasty, nutritious and lactose, cholesterol and gluten free.
Anacabert is tasty, healthy and, most of all, environmentally sustainable. It is perfect for anyone following a vegan diet and for those who care about the environment. Our vegan cheeses are all homemade with love. Process: “The cashews are weighed to the desired quantity, then placed in boiling water for 1 minute and drained.
Next they are blended and the paste is poured into molds for a night at room temperature. The next day the cheese molds are placed in glass containers and left to age in the refrigerator for approximately 14 days, turning them every 3 days.” Edible rind, containing edible noble molds. Keep refrigerated at 0-4 degrees. Once opened, keep in fridge and consume in no more than 3 days.
